IT ALL BEGINS AT A REGIONAL COMPETITION
The WorldSkills Australia Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Competitions begin at a grass roots level in one of 34 Australian regions. The Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Regional Competitions test the skills and knowledge of 4000+ apprentices, trainees and students, who have the opportunity to win gold, silver and bronze medals and gain the chance to go on to compete at a national level.
WorldSkills Australia competitions operate on a two-year cycle. The next Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Regional Competition rounds are now kicking off across the country. The next National Championships will take place in 2020 which is Australia’s biggest vocational education and excellence competition. Over three days at Skills Show Australia, selected Regional competitors bring their best to the national stage and compete against their industry peers from around the country.
